Information for Class of 2024

Welcome to Student Financial Services at Massachusetts Maritime Academy.  Although some families find MMA to be a very affordable public university, we understand that many families require financial assistance to help make it affordable. Our goal is to assist you and your family in every way possible in meeting your educational expenses.  This is accomplished through the awarding of grants, loans, and student work programs and by providing you with a supportive and comfortable environment where staff is willing to work with you in obtaining the necessary funds you may need to attend MMA.  In addition to providing students with financial aid options, our team will also assist you through the billing process and your payment options.

In addition to working with both undergraduate and graduate students, our office also assists veterans and their dependents and works directly with the VA in obtaining educational benefits for these students.

We hope that you will take advantage of all of the information found on our web page. Undergraduate students and their parents will find our webpage very helpful when navigating financial services at MMA.  If you need further assistance in the completion of applications or if you have questions or comments regarding the application process, your awards, or the service you receive, please don't hesitate to contact us directly at 508-830-5087.  Inquiries regarding your bill, health insurance requirements and payment plan options, please feel free to call us at 508-830-5400.

We recommend that dependent students who rely on their parents to assist them with the financial aid and billing process provide MMA with written permission to discuss their information with their parent(s).
