Our client is an offshore wind subcontractor seeking a Harborside Logistics Support professional to join their team in Providence, RI. Previous experience in maritime logistics is highly preferred.

Responsibilities:
Assist the project HSE department regarding harbor site specific issues
Management of safety equipment: PPE, climbing gear including keeping record of inventory and keeping track of the use of PPE, monitoring service life of PPE
Site stock management – consumables for the building
Organize and track all forklift and crane operations onshore
Daily housekeeping on site and vehicles, general site upkeep management
Site office delivery management
Assist in refueling gas
Liaise with shipyard and guard company, and local site contractors
Call out –duty outside normal working hours

Requirements:
Valid TWIC Card or ability to acquire one
Relevant work experience within port, terminal, or construction site
Previous logistics experience
Ability to list 50lbs unassisted
Data input of all PPE that requires certification
Damage stock control issue of PPE
Supporting the construction management with ad hoc tasks
Daily/weekly/monthly/annual building safety checks
